Three ways to work with us
- Workshop: bring the turbocharger or its rotating assembly to Tuzla for dismantling, measuring, inspection, reconditioning, balancing and testing.
- At the shipyard: our technicians come to the vessel while it is at a yard, and the work is planned around the yard's schedule and site procedures.
- On board: where the unit and the situation allow it, the work is done on the vessel itself. We confirm what is possible once we know the unit.
From enquiry to delivery
- You send the vessel name, the turbocharger make, model and serial number, photos of the nameplate and the unit, and a short description of the problem.
- We confirm whether the job is better suited to on-site work or to the workshop, and which parts may be needed.
- If the unit comes to Tuzla, it is received, logged and visually inspected, and its condition is recorded.
- The unit is dismantled, measured and inspected. Worn components are reconditioned or replaced, and the rotating assembly is balanced.
- The unit is tested and the results are written up in a report.
Working inside a shipyard
Every yard has its own gate procedures, safety rules and work permits. To avoid waiting at the gate, tell us early who the yard contact is, which dates the vessel is booked for and how many technicians need access.
A turbocharger overhaul is often planned together with other engine work, so the yard schedule matters. Send us the planned dates and we will tell you what fits.
Large units usually have to be lifted and moved inside the yard. Agree the access route and the lifting arrangements with the yard in advance.
