2. What we collect

We collect only what you type into a form on this website. There are two forms.

Contact form (Contact page)

Request type, name, company, country, e-mail address, telephone number, urgency, ship name, IMO number, port or location, turbocharger make and model, serial number, part number, your message, and one optional photo (an image of a nameplate or damage, up to 5 MB). Which fields are shown depends on the request type you choose. Whatever else you write in the message or show in a photo is also received by us, so please do not include anything you do not want us to have.

Supplier documents request form (Shipyards page)

Company, contact person, e-mail address, telephone number, shipyard or project, the documents you ask for, and your message.

Both forms include a tick box asking you to agree that we may use the details to answer your request, and a hidden field that only automated spam programs fill in.

If you only browse the website, we do not ask you for any personal data.

3. How and why we use it

We use the details you send to read and answer your request, for example to call or e-mail you back, prepare a quote or send the documents you asked for. We do not use them for advertising and this website does not do profiling or automated decision-making.

4. Third parties

The following outside services are involved when you use this website.

Netlify (form handling and hosting)
What you submit through the forms is received by Netlify, which acts as a service provider processing the data for us, and the website itself is served from its infrastructure. Server location and data-transfer details: [to be confirmed]. Netlify may also keep technical access logs (such as IP address and browser type) of visits; the provider and period are [to be confirmed].
Google Fonts
The page fonts are loaded from Google servers each time a page opens. This sends your IP address, browser details and the address of the page you are on to Google. Note for the owner: if the fonts are moved to our own server, delete this item.
Google Maps
The map on the Contact page loads only after you click “Load map”. Until then nothing is sent to Google for the map. Once loaded, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies; see Google’s own privacy policy.
WhatsApp
The WhatsApp buttons are ordinary links. Nothing is sent when the page loads. If you click one, you leave this website and your chat is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.
Telephone and e-mail links
Links that start a call or an e-mail open the app on your device. This website does not receive anything from them.

This website has no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or social-media plug-ins.
